Message from the Director


Our 2025 season was one of great excitement. Several of our concerts in both cities sold out before the first notes were played. It is deeply gratifying to know that so many people love the Bach Virtuosi Festival and our interpretations of J.S. Bach.

In 2026, the festival celebrates 11 years in Portland, Maine, and three years in New York City, and we have a full slate of exciting programming planned. I hope you can join us in NYC (May 12-19) or Portland (June 16-23) or both. I have no doubt you will be moved by the incomparable music of the world’s greatest composer, performed by world-class musicians.
